Dave, if you bought DS Pro+, boy, are you in for a treat!! It works so beautifully with vector graphics. I use Corel Draw quite a bit, and I still do use Drawings on one of my pc's, but the DS auto digitizing works very well. I think you will be very happy with DS when you see all the wonderful features you will now have at your fingertips. It's not like Drawings at all, it's really a lot easier once you get the hang of it, and will give you way more control. I save my files as .exp and bring into DS. Good luck!!
