Try rebooting the computer. Plug-and-play should detect the diskette drive again. If that does not, check the BIOS (usually F2 on boot-up but it could be another F-key) and make sure it has not been disabled. I have some how told windows XP that there was no A drive. The Presario tells me the A drive is alive and well. When I pull a menu I'm shown C D E F drives, but no A. How do I fix this? I need the A drive to install the ethernet adapter. If it's not one thing, its three more. :-)
