Jean,
I have been using the magnetic bobbins, but I am so new (5 months) to
embroidery that I'm not sure my opinion counts. They seem to work, they
definitely produce less lint. They seem to make bobbin tension a thing
of the past since the magnet controls the tension. I would probably
recommend them in a shop where you had employees who didn't understand
bobbin tension yet. I'm not sure they are worth the price for
experienced shops. My two cents worth.

Is anyone using the magnetic bobbins? I've a friend who
recommended them to me. He uses the older Melco machines. I
tried them on the Amaya and they seem to work great.
