Instead, respond to the thread on the WEBSITE by clicking here: http://www.amayausers.com/boards/ultimatebb.php?/topic/1/407.html I was recently sewing a canvas bag when the lining in the bag got caught up and for lack of a better term "jammed things up". I carefully got everything unstuck, but when I started up the machine I noticed that the bobbin was no longer horizontal and causing needle breaks. I loosened the bar that holds the bobbin case and rotated the case to where the bar rests in the groove. The bobbin is again horizontal. The Amaya is again sewing, however, it seems to have a little more of a problem starting a stitch, the thread doesn't always catch the bobbin thread and eventually pulls from the needle. My question is..... Is there a particular adjustment or technique for installing the bobbin case hold-down bar? It seems the bobbin thread does run thru the groove. Is there anything else I should look at to make sure all is well? Appreciate any help.
