Have you made sure your needle is in correctly.  We had that problem
yesterday. It turned out to be the needle in backwards!

Okay list...

Here is your challenge for the day. More often than not whenever my Amaya
starts to stitch, the thread does not grab the bobbin and it pops out. I
re-thread this machine more than I can stand. 

It happens as it is attempting to put down those first few stitches and it
is moving slow.

Is it bobbin tension? Needle angle? Material thickness?

If anyone can offer any words of wisdom, I would be forever grateful!
