Get a thread chart from Madeira and find the conversion chart for ARC to
Madeira colors. We started switching over several years ago and except for some
very minor differences, I'd say 90% of our threads were matched in Madeira
colors with no problem. If you have a choice between a slightly 'darker' color
or slightly 'lighter' color to make a match, go with the lighter color and your
customer may never know. Brighter shade makes it look clean and vibrant-darker
shade makes it look older even right off the machine. Optical illusion.
