Jim,
If there is an upgrade within 6 months of your purchase Melco will
provide it for you. Otherwise you can upgrade by purchasing the upgrade
as required.
As for 3 y.o. AMAYA's running new software, yes all AMAYA OS levels are
suitable for all AMAYA's made.
We have customers with the machines from the first lot made and they run
better with version 7 software than the original software they had been
supplied with.

I am wondering what the protocol is for notification and updating of the
AmayaOS software....do you folks get notified about updates
automatically?
What about a 3 year old Amaya...can it use the newer OS?
I ask because Melco never informs me about updates, so I'm not sure what
the
procedure is...
