Hi Don

I use the software to eliminate whenever possible the short stitches in 
each element of the design. 

But as you suggest, there are also other factors which contribute to a 
less than 1mm distance between stitch points ..... some of these still 
can be dealt with but others are extremely difficult to resolve.
