I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer. When my thread came on dark colored
spools, I'd store it upside down so I could find the color number I wanted.
With the white cones I'd write the number using a sharpie marker on the top of
the cone. It took me until now to figure out to write the color number on a
mailing label, trim it down to size and put it around the top of the cone.
(sigh) There are days I wonder if my parents left out the brain option when
they were assembling me!
