Jim: I did look at the beta of Wilcom's program, but never followed through with the download. Thanks for reminding me to take a closer look. They have a 30 day free trial, so it might be worth looking at: http://www.wilcom.com.au/businessadvantage/ As I said, we haven't tried it, but since you're already using QB, it might be a seamless transition - of course, you'll have to upgrade to the M&W version of QB (probably not cheap), but who knows, it might be worth checking out. If you do look it over, I'd be interested to hear what you have to say about it. We're just starting with QB, so we're novices at it. Good luck, - Jim -----Original Message----- From: amayausers-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:amayausers-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Dean Zellman Sent: Saturday, July 30, 2005 6:43 PM To: Amayausers@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [amayausers] Accounting/mgt software I'd like to get some opinions on accounting software. I've been using QuickBooks Pro for many years and have well outgrown it. Here's a wish list: I need a system that will include size matrix (to include pants waist and lengths), point of sale, SKU#'s, bar coding, work orders, POs, backorders, inventory and all the other features us embroiders need relating to designs, placements, thread color st ct etc... The program will also need to import Qbooks files and bring in catalogs from Sanmar and others. I know that much of Qbooks is proprietary and does not convert well to other programs. Invoice , billing , statement generating are must haves. If such a company exist, I would want them to do all the converting of my data as its goes back many years. Anyone? Thanks Dean
