When working with colors like this, use the Pantone Color System. Every thread company has a Pantone conversion. It's used in the graphic design business all the time and works just the same with thread. ----- Original Message ----- From: webmaster@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx To: amayausers@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, September 12, 2007 9:49 PM Subject: [amayausers.com] Re: ARC color numbers used in China? Instead, respond to the thread on the WEBSITE by clicking here: http://www.amayausers.com/boards/ultimatebb.php?/topic/7/37.html I have digitized artwork for a woman who is taking mock-ups to China to be reproduced. She is staying there to make sure the colors used on the mock-up samples are the same ones used by the Chinese factories. My question is; is there a universal number used globally for ARC thread since I doubt if they sell ARC in China? Question #2; she paid me to digitize the designs, but would most of you charge another fee to have it used by another embroiderer for mass production? She plans to use my services long term for future creations.
