We have problems with the sticky backing also, we get adhesive build up on the
hook and that leads to more problems, we began spraying the hook area at start
of shift with silicone and that has eased the problems, we still need to clean
the machine once every two weeks. Do not spray silicone anywhere above the
needle plate, if any gets on the tension rollers you'll have more problems.
We run 4 XT's in 10hr shifts.
