In Memoriam: Anna Piccotti

The Nuclear Physics Our colleague Anna Piccotti passed away on November 15th as 
a result of a car accident she suffered a few days before. Her husband and two 
young sons survived.

Active in the field of heavy-ion physics since the early nineties, as a member 
of the NA50 experiment...

The data taking started on the night between November 5-6 when test beams were 
injected and brought to collisions. The number of events were few, around
