The Quadrantids meteor shower is due to peak at around 07h30 UT in the
morning of 4th January. This shower is usually very strong, but only lasts a
few hours. The timing favours observers in North America - European and
Asian observers may end up disappointed, but radio observers should see
increased activity around the peak time as the radiant near Polaris is
circumpolar in and above mid-latitudes.
