So many different groups are asking exactly this same question.
It can’t be done.
It’s got nothing to do with internet speed, or the program you use -
it’s to do with the laws of physics.
You play music and send it to me in real time.
I’m going to see it with a half-second delay, but I won’t know it,
so I can play along with you.
But if you want me to send you back my sound in real time, so you
can hear my harmonies etc, there will be another half-second delay.
So now you’re hearing my music a whole second late.
If you try and adjust to me, I’ll notice you slowing down by a
second, so maybe I will too. Now you’ll see me a second-and-a-half
late... etc.
This already happens every time you Skype, etc and talk online...
it’s just that no one notices a half-second delay and it all sounds
normal.
But you can’t play on a beat and send the sound back to the original
player.
All you can do is play along with a leader, and the leader can’t
listen to any followers. Every follower should mute their microphone.
You can take turns being the leader.

For my concert band for school we have one person play with a
metronome and everyone else is muted and plays along
