Municipal Building CLOSED until further notice. 3. Tax bills can be placed in the "Drop Off" box outside town hall. 4. Edison's water supply is safe for cooking, drinking, showers, etc. 5. Nursing homes and assisted living facilities are doing well. 6. The Edison Senior Center, 2963 Woodbridge Ave, is open as an emergency shelter. (732) 248-7345. 7. Regular shopping days for senior citizens has been resumed. 8. North Edison & Clara Barton libraries have resumed regular hours. 9. *THE MAIN LIBRARY ON PLAINFIELD AVE IS CLOSED DUE TO LACK OF POWER. *10. Superintendent of schools Dr. Richard O'Malley announced that John Adams middle school, JP Stevens high school, Benjamin Franklin elementary school, John Marshall elementary school and the board of education offices on Pierson Ave are open to the public for charging cell phones, computers and just keeping warm from 9AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday. 11. SAT's scheduled for Saturday, November 3rd have been rescheduled for Saturday, November 17th. 12. SAM's Club, BJ's, Tano Mall, Costco, Colonial Village, Lou Cas, Menlo Park Diner, Menlo Park Mall, the shopping center west of the railroad tracks on Inman Ave (Across from Westgate) are all open. 13. Much of Oak Tree Road is up and running. 14. Regular garbage and recycling schedules have resumed.15.
