Are we still going to require Aeropac approval for flights over 35,000’?

Tripoli has raised the Class 3 threshold for class 2 single motor flights to
75,000 feet. If you are launching a single motor flight that is under 40,960
newton seconds and is not going over 75,000 feet then you don't have to
submit that flight to the Tripoli Class 3 Committee for approval. The
threshold used to be 50,000 feet and still is for multi-stage or multi-motor
flights but for single motors under 40,960 newton seconds it's 75,000 feet.
You still need to fill out the Aeropac high altitude form and fly during the
high window in the morning so that it can be recovered within the expanded
waiver cylinder.
