Listmates --
I spoke with attorney Gary Grenley of Garvey Schubert this morning
about his interest in representing a large group of investors to collect
against Ross MIles and others behind the loss of our AEM funds. He is
interested and existing clients, the Nichols, are now willing for him to
represent a large group due to economies of scale. Gary told me he just
received a large batch of documents from American Equities, Ross Miles, etc.
in the Nichols litigation and therefore he is way ahead of most attorneys at
getting to the bottom of things.
Gary and his firm have the experience and size to represent a large
group well. He has successfully pursued other Ponzi schemes that have
attempted to file receiverships, etc. when they imploded.
Gary could not give me a definite "minimum number" for a retainer that
his firm needed to start the work representing a large group. He said it
was his policy to keep a sufficient retainer on hand for the expected work
over the next month or so, and that when it was getting low he would ask for
it to be refreshed. Gary told me that he could potentially enlarge the
existing Nichols' litigation to accomodate other investors.
I am ready to contribute $5,000.00 to the Garvey Schubert firm now to
get things going as I am very concerned that with each month of delay, Ross
Miles and his cohorts will find a way to sell and hide property. Can I get
a listing of others who can contribute now and are ready to go this same
direction? If interested, please provide the following info (at Gary's
request):
Name of investor(s) on the Note
Your current address
Your total amount invested (amount stated on your Notice of claim)
Amount you can contribute to attorney fees to start
Thanks very much for your anticipated response. The more people we can get
together, the sooner we can hold these folks responsible and get our money
back.
