It seems likely that Hamstreet will continue to be the receivership, though
there is another hearing scheduled for 08/16. The Judge appointed Hamstreet
in first place, so he'd have to reverse course, which I understand isn't
too likely. But, perhaps a couple attorney's today got Hamstreet's
attention as well as the Judge's. :-) Others may have more to say that is
more helpful.

HBO did a documentary on Theranos (“Out For Blood in Silicon Valley”) In
it, you will see seasoned, hardened investigative reporters become
emotional about the fact that they believed a lie.
I purposely mentioned these details & minutiae with the names of people
and huge amounts of money. Sorry, but I do not mean to bore you or stun you
with my research abilities. I just recently read the book by a WSJ reporter
& watched the documentary, so it’s fresh in my memory.
But wrote this to remind myself and all of you good people that there are
people out there who will lie to your face and any one, and I mean anyone,
can believe them.
Our reaction is to wisely pursue justice through the courts, civilly and
criminally. If we’re patient and fortunate, perhaps we can get something in
return, perhaps some justice.
Don’t give up. Hang in there.
My wife and I will be away for a bit on family duties, but are in this to
pursue the devil. Evil always makes mistakes.

Marycarol Feldman, Maureen Minsker and Ross Miles are siblings. Tooty is

Yes it should. A federal investigation would put the kibosh on the
receivership as well.
I am still shaking my head as to why the report didn’t say something like

Also, to me it is jaw-dropping that none of this is considered criminal.
Just how it looked at first glance (like a Ponzi scheme) would have
prevented an ethical person from accepting the engagement.
It is definitely in the territory where the lack of objectivity of the
receiver and his interest in continued billings (he is getting paid,
remember, out of the income Ross and Maureen are still making).
