On July 4th I wrote an email that had the aem-vanc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx in the
same "to" column with Ross Miles' name also added on that line. Not sure
if he could reverse engineer that.
I was sending --early on-- our interactions to MaryCarol, his secretary
because she was unaware of the enormity of Ross's transgressions. July 4,
I stopped all
contact except one in-person contact that involved emotion and tears. I
asked her, in person, at American Equities, whether she believed Ross or
did she in fact believe her bank account.
She said she did not believe Ross had been lying. She lost all of her
retirement money,however. Tootie, his niece, also lost everything. Her
name is Romelle Wampler. Larry
Wampler, her ex husband also lost a great deal. He and Tootie lived at
Ross's compound in La Center for years. I was told that MaryCarol and
Tootie were "no longer in communication." as I believe a split developed
over this. I have not spoken to Tootie after the Red Lion mtg.
at the Red Lion Inn meeting and when they left, I walked out and talked
with each as they left. They were aghast not that funds had been taken
but at the disloyalty
to Ross. On the other side, they did not know how they were going to
continue without money. They were both distraught. Neither one signed up
with Ila's daughter's
email list as they walked out early in the meeting. Ila's daughter's email
list was suggested at the very end of the meeting and not all at the
meeting signed up.
Thus, I do not believe that they have access. Another reason I do not
believe that they have access is that MaryCarol did contact me asking for
anything I might know. I told her she should add her name to the investors
who were receiving the info and talking among themselves on AEM-Vanc @
freelists. org as she was being influenced by this bankruptcy. She refused
as I felt she thought it disloyal.
But if you can reverse engineer that aem-vanc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx, well, then
they have access.
As well, MaryCarol told me they had several investors keeping them "up to
speed".
I think it likely that this email list should morph into either another
list or that nothing particularly interesting should be shared. On the
other hand, perhaps honesty is the best policy. For instance, I would love
to hear other's stories. What is Ross going to do? Write in and deny that
any of this is going on? The law is a firm task master. Ross is now up
against law.
Ross if you are listening: Roy Thompson said if you just come up with 50
million, the whole thing can go away. I don't know if that is true. But
the thing you said you were most worried about, comingling funds, that
might be that you got bad advice and your advisors could share the guilt.
Anyhoo-- we are far from the shallows now...
