First I want to setup a cross-compiler under linux (adtools binutils and gcc-3.3.3). Then I try to build a m68k version of gcc-3.3.3 and binutils. If this works I install them in UAE and compile some test programs under m68k. I know there are GG packages for binutils and gcc. But it is still a good test to check if the binutils changes work. -Josef -----Original Message----- Date: Wed, 30 Nov 2005 17:14:06 +0100 Subject: [adtools] Re: Problems building native m68k version of binutils From: Gunther Nikl To: adtools@xxxxxxxxxxxxx On Wed, Nov 30, 2005 at 12:07:09PM +0100, Josef.Wegner@xxxxxxxxxxx wrote: > This are bad news, indeed. > > I think this might be a reason to move on and port m68k to gcc 4.0.1. In the audit trail of the PR there is a proposed path that was rejected. Its unknown why this was rejected. > Or should I try to create native binutils and gcc packages with gcc > 3.3.3 first? Can you be a little bit more specific? What are you planning to build with 3.3.3?
