,CorderoRic@xxxxxxxxx DearDr. Sam Sugar [<ssugarmd@xxxxxxx>], Symposium
presenters, and Advocates of Honest Judiciaries, 1. Ihave suggested that you,
Dr. Sugar, call a meeting of presenters as soon aspossible so that we can
consider and implement ideas for: A. advertising the April 11-12 Guardianship
Abuse Symposium and the unprecedented citizenshearings; B. increasing the
number of people willing and able to attend;and C. prolonging the impact of the
Symposium beyond April 11-12into the secular system of judges’ abuse in
connivance with politicians 2.KNOWLEDGE IS POWER. Not all emails provide the
same amount and quality of it.Based on experience, one must learn to
distinguish which are likely to providethe most so that they warrant the effort
and time needed to read them. a. Moreover, if one states “I am available to any
presenter to assist with theirpresentation at any time”, then one should read
their comments, especially those clearly aimed to contribute to the greater and
longer-termsuccess of the Symposium. Search in the email inbox for the name of
thecommenter and bypass the junk there. b. To be an effective leader one must
endeavor as much as possible to learn what one's peers and colleagues think and
say.
c. In order to achieve the stated objective ofclosing the Symposium with a
consensus position paper, the presenters muststart working from now on
proposing and negotiating such consensus.
A. Advertising the Symposium and theunprecedented citizens hearings 3. My
presentation is contained in an article that is a work in progress;
http://Judicial-Discipline-Reform.org/OL2/DrRCordero_exposing_judges_power_abuse.pdf.
4. I just added to it the following pertinent paragraphs: “32. Inthis vein, it
is worth considering Academia, a consortium of universities thatstates the
following about itself: "Used by academics at 16,937 universities";
Academia.edu | Log In. “33. Doyou instinctively think strategically to detect
the potential of thatstatement? We must reach out to Academia so that it may
serve as a conduit toas many of those universities as possible. We want to
persuade them to hold theunprecedented citizens hearings in their own interest,
namely, as aninnovative way of becoming agents of socio-political change by
acting as “We the People’s loudspeaker” and acrafter of domestic policy.” 5.
Congress holds hearings on judicial reform that are a sham, forpoliticians do
not investigate the very same people that they put on the bench:Appointers do
not discredit their appointees as incompetent or dishonest, lestthey discredit
themselves as “birds of the same feather, which fly together”. 6. Federal
judges have held hearings on the rules for processing complaintsagainst fellow
judges filed under the Judicial Conduct and Disability Act of1980. Yet, the
judges continue to dismiss 100% of complaintsagainst them and deny 100% of the
petitions to review those dismissals. Theirsare also sham hearings. 7. It
follows that trusting politicians who have signed up to reform thesystem of
judge-appointed abusive guardians is an exercise in ignorance ofwhere the
interests of politicians lie; and how judges cover for each other, for if
onefalls, he can bring down another with domino effect. a. This is so unless
the politician has committed herselfpublicly and unequivocally by daring
denounce judges’ abuse of power. So hasSenator Elizabeth Warren. In her “I have
a plan for the Federal Judiciary too”, she denounces federal judges for
refusing to recusethemselves from cases in which they have a financial interest
in one of theparties before them and steering the case so as to protect or even
increase thevalue of such interest. Sen. Warren refers to it as abusive
self-enrichment. b. Despite an analysis critical of her plan, she shouldbe
asked to address the audience in support of the Symposium and the
citizenshearings. To that end, her Washington, D.C., office should be contacted
byphone to speak with here chief of staff, if at all possible, to cause the
chiefto agree to both retrieve a Symposium email containing a formal invitation
fromamong the tens of thousands of emails sent there routinely and put it to
Sen.Warren’s consideration. Merely sending her yet another email will
accomplishnothing; info@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx,
Elizabeth_Warren@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. See:
1) info@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, Elizabeth_Warren@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 2)
https://www.warren.senate.gov/contact/office-locations,office phone in her ;
Washington, DC, office: (202)224-4543 3)
https://www.warren.senate.gov/services/meeting-requests:“To request a meeting ;
with Elizabeth or one of her staffers, please send anemail to
scheduling@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.” 8. Hence the proposed unprecedented citizens
hearings. They will be organizedand held by the media and universities in their
own commercial and reputationalinterest. Panels of journalists, professors, and
experts will take via videoconference the testimony of the victims of judges’
abuse that they havesuffered or witnessed. The outrage that the hearings will
provoke will causeever more media and universities to hold their own. A
generalized investigationof judges and its outrageous findings will force
politicians to adopt judicialreforms that today appear impossible but will then
become unavoidable forpoliticians who want to remain in, or be voted into,
office. 9.This explains the importance of reaching out to as many universities
aspossible. To that end, we want Academia to convey our proposal to all its
16,937 university members. 10. Wealso want the professors who will be
presenting to reach out to theirrespective university press office. Such
offices have access not only to otheruniversities, but also to journalists and
their media outlets. They can put onpress conferences where we announce the
Symposium and the proposal for theunprecedented citizens hearings in theirown
interest: a. Thecitizens hearings are an innovative way for universities to
become agents ofsocio-political change by acting as influencers and crafters of
domesticpolicy. b.Universities can become a powerhouse in American politics. In
the process, theycan do something that they desperately need in the times of
Covid-19: containthe dropping out of students and attract a sufficient number
of them to be ableto run effectively and, as the case may be, profitably too.
As far as lawschools goes and due to dwindling enrollment, some have closed
down; two havemerged; and others have reduced their curriculum to save
themselves the salaryof adjunct instructors. The new role and regained prestige
of universities canattract more students; and make it acceptable for professors
to work for alower salary. c. Fortheir part, the media can use these hearings
to begin to remove the stain caston them as ‘the enemy of the people that
peddles fake news’ and make themselvesa name as “We the People’sloudspeaker”.
11. Itis reasonable to assume that the presenting professors have easier access
tofellow professors in other universities. They could share with them their own
invitation to the Symposium;forward to them mine; or make a comment of their
own to introduce mine. 12. Ihave many addresses of professors at law,
journalism, business, and InformationTechnology schools. We can invite them to
the Symposium just as we can offer tomake a presentation to the students and
professors of their schools. a. We canembark on a digital tour of schools
accessed via video conference, that is,unless the schools agree to pay for our
trip and related expenses.
1. Email addresses of law school professorsand students 13. These are some of
the email addressesof professors and former students. The latter can reach out
to their formerclassmates and professors, and the current class officers:

important mediaoutlets that we should try to contact to invite to cover the
Symposium and holdcitizens hearings are precisely those that already
investigated state judgesand published scathing reports on them: a. Thomson
Reuters is a major U.S.news organization with some 2,500 journalists and some
600 photojournalists. In “The Teflon Robe” report, whose first of three parts
was published on June30, 2020, it decried “hardwired judicial corruption”:

B. Increasing the number of people willing and able toattend 16.The Symposium
is going to be virtual, occurring only via video conference. Itshould apply the
economic model of the radio, TV, and the Internet: a. the basic service is
offered free of charge, i.e. appealingprograms are offered that attract an
audience; b. advertisers, which include named sponsors, are the sourceof
revenue that pays for the basic service; c. premium services are offered on a
fee-paying basis; e.g., streamingaccess to whole seasons of a series. 17. Myown
experience supports the application of this economic model: a. My website
Judicial Discipline Reform is at http://www.Judicial-Discipline-Reform.org. My ;
articles posted there are the service of providing information and analysis
that I offer forfree. They have attracted so many webvisitors that 37,370+ have
becomesubscribers; see Appendix 3. How many law firms, let alone lawyers, do you
know have a website with so many subscribers? b. I have a list of20,000 email
addresses. To them I constantly email my articles for free. c. My website and
articles are based on my three-volume study ofjudges and their judiciaries,
based on professional law research and writing, and strategic thinking. The
study* † ♣ is titled and downloadable for free thus: ExposingJudges'

a. Open thedownloaded files using Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is available for
free. d. Yet, literally only a handful of people have ever made adonation to
Judicial Discipline Reform.
e. However, the exceptionally high number of subscribers to my website, namely,
37,370+, has economic value: It proves to capital investors that my site
appeals to the well-off and educated segment of the public that not only reads,
but also wants to read long and intellectually demanding articles. This is
evidence in support of investing in developing it as described in my business
plan, which is guided by the motto: "Making Money While Doing Justice".
18. Thestay-at-home mandate as a Covid-19 social-distancing measure has led
anastonishingly large and ever growing number of people to accept
communicatingvia video conference. The communication service offered by Zoom is
free. 19.People who have become accustomed to meeting for free on the Internet
via Zoomand other similar video conference platforms are most likely not
willing to pay to attend a symposium. How many presenters would pay a $15 fee to
attend any symposium, never mind thisSymposium? 20. Thatword “symposium” itself
‘indicts’ the meeting as one addressed only to the highlyeducated. It drives
away the overwhelming majority of victims of judges’ unaccountabilityand
consequent abuse of power, including guardians’ abuse. 21. A symposiumthat
only attracts the highly educated, such as those who move in the circlesof the
presenters, will end up being nothing but a one-off event that merelyenhances
the reputation of the presenters: climbers on a soap box at the backof the
park.
22. The intellectual discourse of yetanother group of educated people talking
among themselves on the Internet willnot cause judges and their appointees to
give up the gains and convenience thatthey grab through their abuse of power.
a. Neither will the cries of pain and anger of a group ofvictims swapping their
stories as they vie for the recognition as the mosthorribly abused victim in
history...despite lacking any basis for comparisonbecause they do not pay
attention to other victims’ stories, and forget about their reading other
victims’stories! 23.Only a national public informed about, and outraged at,
judges’ abuse of power cangenerate enough pressure on politicians to
investigate ‘their men and women on the bench’, whom they protect regardless
oftheir abuse so as not to incur devastating retaliation from the whole
judicialclass. 24. Tobegin to inform and outrage the national public, the
organizers and presentersmust attract to the Symposium as many victims of
judges -not only of guardians or guardian-appointing judges- as possible by
offeringthem for free the only service that interests them: the opportunity to
tell theirstory of abuse.
25. Eachvictim considers his or her story the one with the most egregious
example ofabuse. If they could only tell it to the world, the world would be
shocked, come to their aid, and force the judge to do them justice. Wishful
thinkingtrumps knowledge. Nevertheless, their story burns them from the inside.
Theyneed to tell it.
26. TheSymposium should be billed as the free service preparing the opportunity
forthem to do so at the unprecedented citizens hearings. a. Reuters asked its
readers to send it their stories ofjudicial abuse of power. The advertising of
the Symposium and the citizenshearings should include an invitation to the
public to write their stories by applyingthe two-step method(>OL3:1148§G)for
doing so in up to 500 words and send it to Reuters and to all and any
othermedia outlets using the email addresses in paragraph 14.a supra.
27. Earning revenue will have to wait untilthere is a premium service that
victims and even educated people want to payfor; e.g., access on a fee-paying
basis to a website’s database and research and auditing software on
judicialabuse exposure, compensation, and reform. Joining the effort to be
compensated for the abusesuffered is what will attract the largest number of
fee-payers. C. Prolonging the impact of the Symposium
28. The organizers and presenters mustdecide whether they conceive of the
Symposium as an opportunity to hear eachother talk or as the first event for
informing thenational public about, and outraging it at, judges’ abuse of
power. 29. The former requires nothingmore than appear before your computer
at the time of your Symposiumpresentation and deliver it. 30. The latter
requires both commitmentto making a difference in the system that allows judges
and their appointees tobe unaccountable and risklessly abuse their power, and
engagement in thenecessary strategic thinking. a. Presenting-professors must
decide whether they wantto ‘live or die’ in their universities by having yet
another article publishedin a professional journal or by being recognized
nationally as members of thesteering committee for forming a
Tea-Party/MeToo!/BLM/socio-economicequality-like movement for judicial abuse
exposure, compensation of abusees, and reform. b. Picture yourself in that photo
of us at a pressconference where we make an Emile Zola’s Iaccuse!-like
denunciation of judges’ abuse of power in connivance withpoliticians, including
the abuse committed and covered up byattorney general Judge Merrick Garland and
President Biden’scommission to reform the judicial system.
D. Requested action and offer to present this proposal 31. To discuss these
proposals Ireiterate my request that Dr. Sugar call a meeting of presenters via
videoconference as soon a possible. 32. I offer to make a presentationat that
meeting on:
a. advertising the Symposium and causing the media anduniversities to hold the
unprecedented citizens hearings: the need to practice the division of labor,
specialization, and delegation indispensable for a group of people to become an
organization; b. increasing the audience and financing the Symposium;and c.
prolonging the Symposium’s impact by making it setin motion a movement for
judicial abuse exposure, compensation, and reform
