Hello everybody.👋 I need info. the other day I asked about the proper
documents to file as a National at a J.O.B. I received the teachings I was
missing and filed everything perfect...5 days later they let me go because
“I didn’t complete the required paperwork”. I said then let’s go complete
it. He said pack up your tools and leave the property.
Now I would like to file a tort claim against this company for
discrimination. Heres why...they terminated me because I choose not to
include my Socialist Security number on the I9. They made me file it 3
different times and I gave them a 4th hard copy all excluding my SS.
On the USCIS.gov website it says...” You cannot ask employees to provide a
specific document with their Social Security number on it. To do so may
constitute unlawful discrimination.”
I showed them also...” Employees may voluntarily provide their Social
Security number, or leave this field blank.” Which I choose to leave blank.
Im looking for a disbarred attorney or somebody willing to take up to half
of the claims depending on the amount of work they want to put in. I’m
fairly competent and representing myself in a court room but lack the
knowledge in suing a corporation for terminating me for not providing my SS
on a I9...to add a little I added my social on the hiring contract AND my
tax forms. Just not the i9.
