the county recorder filing a tax lien on the property? I have always thought
that the state levies the property and the recorder just follows the state
code. The county appraiser said that all people in the county pay property
taxes and there is no way out of it as he cited "all real property is

remember reading someone here say that they put a $500k lien
on their own property (via a friend - while also having the
removal of the lien in hand for when they wanted to remove
it)...to avoid any other entity getting in first position
