Total Resistance is a must-read book…
It was written by a Swiss war hero named H. Von Dach.
This is one of those books that’s good to read more than once a year to keep
your mind fresh.
One of the lines in the book that really jumped out at me as I was reading it
this morning was…
“Usually, it will be easier to obtain weapons than ammunition.”
Von Dach wrote that line years ago, when he was fighting the communists.
But, it’s still true today.
Did you know that a while back Smith & Wesson hit a billion dollars in sales
for the first time in the history of the company?
Good for them. They’re cranking out guns like crazy.
But even though you can (kind of) easily find guns, the ammo shortage is still
extreme in many places.
You can go to many sporting goods stores and still buy only 1 or 2 boxes at a
time.
Or you can order ammo online and pay a pretty hefty price.
If you don’t have any ammo, then it’s worth it.
If you have a ton of ammo stored like me, then just ride the storm out and
start buying ammo when the prices die down, which could be months or years.
Once you get your ammo, store it in a cool, dry place such as your basement.
Also, don’t have all of your eggs in one basket.
Have some ammo stored in your home…
But also, have some stored in a storage unit.
Or have some buried in another location.
In the book I just mentioned, Van Dach talks about a more sophisticated way to
bury ammo.
Here’s a picture of what he describes in the book…

I realize most of us won’t go to that extreme to bury ammo…
But, it’s still good to get your mind working so you can think of all the ways
to protect your family and all the ways to store your survival goods.
Of course, it might seem extreme now…
But when the dollar collapses soon, you and I will have the last laugh if we
continue to prepare.
You can get H. Von Dach’s book for free here.
Enjoy your Monday.
