I would say the second amendment is supreme legislative law. That is like
taxation. The Constitution states all taxes to be direct or indirect. Pollack v
farmers loans and trust case under justice John Marshall validated that taxes
were unlawful legislatively. The next day Congress passed an amendment and the
case was nullified. The bill of rights supremacy is claiming one with the
articles of confederation agreement that is the supreme law, common law, trial
by jury law. Otherwise the second amendment will be hacked to pieces over time
