Why would you get a new one?? The government already gave you one.
It’s your all caps legal name. Your Christian Common law name is
your name with all lowercase letters with first letters capital as
it is a Pronoun. If they spell your Christian name any different you
have them correct the record or it doesn’t apply to you. Even if
it’s one letter off.

Changing your legal name is incorrect and unnecessary. The only
thing you need to do is register your legal name with your State
secretary (go to website). Then go into the bank and open a business

right to contract with whomever you want, Now you have the right to
apply for the PPP business grants the government is giving out.
There is no other step needed in order to become a legal business
entity with your name.
