LOL, Ok, I will be trying to get Z plates, whatever those Unicorns are. I
looked everywhere on the Calif DMV web site and no reference to these. I am
thinking to get a replicated (realistic toy) plates from the state of Texas,
that says, “Sovreign:” (As I only get 8 characters). They are realistic, and I
had my original plates from my first car redone with California Black plates
and they are like having new perfect plates, but I digress. I figured they are
visually obscure, not in this state, so maybe won’t be looked at too closely,
(or will?) as to avoid something so blatantly not using a usual plate. Unless
you think I am doing something stupid or will get me in more trouble somehow, I
like the idea. I will also cover my vin and place a visible placard showing the
legality of what I am doing, as well as take some of the court references in
your message to keep as a file in the glovebox. I think I will keep my
insurance, I am still thinking on that one. I think I will also try and use my
expired passport as a ID.
