I believe the difference is COMMERCE. The Articles of Confederation is an
organic document that is not in commerce and it is referring to its organic
self styled as an "unincorporated" organization composed of living flesh
and blood.
FEDERAL RESERVE NOTES, on the other hand, are commercial paper that can
only see other legal fictions as itself such as CORPORATIONS and OFFICERS
of the same. There are several corporations named in various styles such
as US, inc; USA, inc, UNITED STATES, inc; UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, inc;
THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, inc.
