Posters will be judged 1-5pm, then winners will be announced and prizes awarded at the Friday night Business Meeting Banquet on October 9, 2009 @ Omni Bayfront Hotel in Corpus Christi. Examples of appropriate material for student presentations include: technology related challenging class projects, undergraduate or graduate research projects, Master Thesis work, internship reports, and other research experiences. Presentations may be accompanied by a demonstration of the software or system developed by the student. Accepted Student Presentations will be judged on the following criteria: Content Quality, Quality of Data, Opportunity for Further Research or Development, Innovative Presentation Technique and Visual Impact, and Relevance to Computing. The student presentation portion of the ACET Annual Conference is designed to provide an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students in computer science, information systems, information technology digital gaming, and related disciplines to present the results of their research or development projects, to meet with faculty and researchers, and to network with their fellow students from other colleges and universities. Student registration is $25 and includes conference attendance as well as lunch and dinner on October 9th.
