It should give you the opportunity to choose from a list of available networks. It should indicate for each list item whether or not it is a secured or unsecured network. For example when I get such a list, it includes my own wireless network which is secured and requires a password. It also lists the wireless networks of several of my neighbors which are also secured and I do not know the password for them. If it is your own network, hopefully it will be secure and you will know the password. Good luck. What does an iOS device do when more then one known wifi network is in range? By known I mean that I have entered the password for the network. Will it automatically connect to the one with stronger signal strength? Then if the strong one gets weaker and the week one gets stronger because I move to a different location, will it switch to the stronger one? I do not see anything in settings where you can set what order to try to connect to each network like there is on a computer. Is it there and I just missed it? Thank you.
