If you have iOS 6 vo and assisistive touch work together with vo and if you have iOS 5 or lower you can only use one at a time.

Hi!
I just tried Assistive Touch few days ago and it didn't get along with Voice Over. Amongst other things it gives you features such as creating your own gestures and locking the screen in landscape but I didn't
manage to achieve neither of those.
OK, take the above with some distance because I'm not experienced VO user, maybe someone has some workaround how to get those two work together.

How does that work with VO? I should have mentioned that this uer is also blind, so relies exclusively on Voiceover.

I think assistive touch would count here.

Hi all,
I'd like to get your thoughts on interacting with iOS with limited mobility? What if you have the use of one hand? Nerve problems that make multi-finger gestures difficult, but multi-key commands on a keyboard likewise difficult? I know there are hundreds of styluses out there, but are there any other solutions, high-tech or otherwise, aside from using Siri/dictation? Thanks for any thoughts.
