Thanks, I was just mentioning that certified apple sellers also sell genuine apple products on e-bay. So you can get the same apple chargers from e-bay that you can buy from the apple store. -----Original Message----- From: accessible-ios-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:accessible-ios-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Ibrahim Gucukoglu Sent: Tuesday, September 24, 2013 8:44 AM To: accessible-ios@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: accessible-iOS Re: strange error message when charging my phone since upgrading to IOS 7 Hi Drew. Apple will support you if you are using genuine or approved partner products. I use genuine apple cables however I have a third party wall charger as it offers international exchangeable plugs which may come in useful and can charge up to 2 devices at any one time. This is manufactured by an approved apple accessories manufacturer, just be careful of the really cheap generic cables and chargers as these can be very dangerous. To get the best from your Apple battery for instance, you should use a charger which meets or exceeds the specification of the Apple wall plug adaptor as this will properly charge your battery. All the best, Ibrahim. -----Original Message----- From: Drew Hunthausen Sent: Tuesday, September 24, 2013 3:56 PM To: accessible-ios@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: accessible-iOS Re: strange error message when charging my phone since upgrading to IOS 7 I agree with going genuine as I've had knock off chargers that didn't work correctly. The thing is though, you can get genuine apple chargers from sites like e-bay that are the same thing as buying them from the apple store. -----Original Message----- From: accessible-ios-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:accessible-ios-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Chris H Sent: Tuesday, September 24, 2013 4:41 AM To: accessible-ios@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: accessible-iOS Re: strange error message when charging my phone since upgrading to IOS 7 Ibrahim I concur with your sentiments. If I need anything like this I always go genuine. I personally can't trust sites like Ebay for all sorts of reason. So go get the real deal.
