Hi,Why is it not good to write larger papers? What is so different from a regular computer?

Hi,I agree with Alberto here. I don뭪 think an iPad is a computer replacement like what your describing. With a bluetooth keyboard, its an awesome notetaker, and with access to iBooks, Kindle, google뭩 Play books, etc, you will probably have access to a lot of content you will need for school. Scanning? I don뭪 know. Maybe a few sheets at a time, so you can keep up with the handouts in class. It will take lots and lots of practice and patients though. Like Alberto said, the camera on an iPad isn뭪 as good as the cameras found on an iPhone 5 or and iPhone 4S. But come to think of it, If you could have a classmate scan the handout for you, they could literally do it in a few seconds.
Writing papers, I wouldn뭪 want to write an entire paper using my iPad. haha. Even with my bluetooth keyboard. What it is good at is proof reading, editing, and doing shorter works. Or, just working on bigger papers when not in front of your computer. Especially if you have a Mac and you have Pages on your iPad and your Mac.

Okay well for scanning stuff I wouldn't recommend the iPad it is just to big and the camera isn't that good. For taking notes it will be great if you have a bluetooth keyboard to go along with it. As for writing papers that isn't recommended with a portable device of that kind I would recommend sticking with a laptop of pc for that. For text book reading they can be very good too specially if you can get an electronic copy of the book.
Those are my thoughts of it specially my use of the iPad.On Aug 6, 2013, at 12:21 PM, Jasmine Kotsay <jasmine.kotsay@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:
Hi,What I meant was, can someone give me an idea of what using the iPad to take notes, write papers, scan handouts the teachers give out, and read textbooks and documents
is like? ----- Original Message ----- From: Beto Arreola <beto.arreola22@xxxxxxxxx To: accessible-ios@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date sent: Tue, 6 Aug 2013 10:26:51 -0600Subject: accessible-iOS Re: question about using an ipad in school
Hi, can you be a little more specific in what you would like to know. There are many uses in school for an iPad and well if you give us an idea of what the use would be for it we can give you a better idea. On Aug 6, 2013, at 3:26 AM, Jasmine Kotsay <jasmine.kotsay@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:
Hello,I was wondering, can anyone who uses an iPad in school tell me their experiences? This would be greatly appreciated.
