been converted to apple now since having an iphone 5 for a fewmonths now

You have two solutions.
First one is to add a organization name into the firm field, I
believe

it's called firm, it's right under last name field when editinga

contact.If you add this detail to all contact you have from the
same
organization you could do a Hotspot search for the name of the
organization and you'll find all the contacts using that detail.
The second one is a small free app named Group Contact Lite.  It
allows
you to put contact into groups and send groups messages and do
some
other sort of things with groupsl.  It's  accessible and useful.
