accessible-iOS Re: alarms not playing in iOS7?

I'm talking specifically about the alarm volume. The alarm volume and the audio volume are two different volumes, so just because you can listen to a book doesn't mean the alarm volume still isn't set to 0 or something so low you couldn't hear it. It doesn't sound like this is your problem, but I was on a stationary bike one day waiting for the alarm to go off, and I couldn't understand why I was getting so tired. Turned out my alarm volume had somehow been set to 0. Once I went into Settings -> Sounds and adjusted the alarm volume, everything was good.

Yes, vibration is on, and yes, the sound is good. It is at 33%, plus I can hear
a book playing through the dock so I know it is set to a comfortable level. I
haven't seen this bug reported anywhere, not this list, no Google, not Twitter.
It must be something I'm missing or need to do, I just can't imagine what. No,
Do Not Disturb can't be the problem, first because that setting does not affect
alarms, only calls and texts, and second because it turns itself off an hour
before my alarm is set. I'm at a loss, but keep putting ideas out there; maybe
something will be the key I never would have considered. Thanks.

Sorry, I'm not saying this is the problem. I'm just making suggestions on
things to take a look at.

Have you gone into Settings -> Sounds to make sure vibrate is turned on and the
volume is set to something loud enough?

Also, could DnD be getting in the way? I'm not sure how DnD effects alarms
myself.

I saw no volume setting on the alarm creation screen, and my main soudn volume
is 33%. Besides, I had no alert, and the phone never vibrated.

Have you checked the volume of your alarm?

Hi all,
I routinely use my iPhone to wake me up, and it has not failed for quite some
time. Now, though, it is not sounding my daily alarm, and it happened with the
iOS7 update. I put my phone in a dock at night, but that has never been a
problem before. I can't think of what to try or what setting(s) to change, and
I've even tried re-creating the alarm. Is this happening to anyone else? Can
anyone suggest something I might try? Thanks.
