accessible-iOS Re: Voicemail?

I think a more generic voicemail system would work like the private answer
machines we all used to have; and the product is more than capable. I'd
like that.
The things I hate about service provided voicemail are - paying to go get
it, and trying to drive the voicemail 'bot with an iPhone. I can't get a
volume balance so I can hear the 'bot and what I'm doing on the keypad.

Sometimes, I check my voicemail that way. It doesn't sync with the voicemail
that's in the voicemail tab on the iPhone. Hi have to delete it off of the
one by calling my phone, then delete it off of the one with in the phone as
well. Why is this?
