I don't recommend the built in calculator for VoiceOver users. Instead, I recommend getting an app called Talking Scientific Calculator. It is VoiceOver friendly and has all the features of a scientific calculator, but can also be used for basic operations. For quick computations, I also recommend asking Syrii. It can get the calculation done through the built in app. So you can ask it to add, subtract, multiply, or divide. Hope this helps, I Jewel Sent from my iPhone On Aug 23, 2013, at 10:12 AM, Kim Kilpatrick <kimjkilpatrick@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Hi there, > I am trying to figure out how to use the calculator with voiceover on my > idevice. > I even tried adding 2 numbers and it did not work. > I can put in numbers but it seems when I try to hit plus or minus or > anything, it doesn't work. > Any tips? > Kim > > With questions, concerns or issues not related to the topics discussed on > list please email the list admin to: beto.arreola22@xxxxxxxxx, or on skype at > betoa221, or on twitter: betoa221 > > To subscribe to the list send message to accessible-ios-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > with subscribe on the subject line. > > To unsubscribe from the list please send message to > accessible-ios-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with unsubscribe in the subject line. > > To adjust your membership options please visit: > //www.freelists.org/list/accessible-ios With questions, concerns or issues not related to the topics discussed on list please email the list admin to: beto.arreola22@xxxxxxxxx, or on skype at betoa221, or on twitter: betoa221 To subscribe to the list send message to accessible-ios-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with subscribe on the subject line.
