Hi,
On pages is there a menu option to insert the date or do you have to write
it in manually? I have looked for a menu option but cant seem to find one
but maybe I missed it somehow.

Hi. I've purchased it and it is quite accessible and works how it should.
When you are finished with a document! Select the documents option on the
top left and re-name your file as it automatically saves it as the name
blank. There is no save command or option. The text in your document is
saved automatically! It's just a matter of re-naming your document for the
first time and then you can edit it at any time. There is a time stamp next
to the saved document so you will know when you last opend or edited the
document.
