You can not re install the music app. It is part of iOS.

Nancy, I apologize for stating the obvious but are you certain your music was transferred to your new iPhone 5? If you connect the phone to your computer and open iTunes, does the music show up on the phone? I would assume since you ran a restore that the music should have transferred over
but I'm fishing here.

I would assume it's possible to reinstall one of the native apps such as the music one but I've never done this and don't know what the steps are. That
seems like the next thing to try.

Subject: accessible-iOS Music App on iPhone 5

Hi List,

I recently got an iPhone 5. I had a 3GS on which everything worked fine. Since switching over to the iPhone 5, my music app doesn't work. When I double tap to play a song, nothing happens. I hear the click like it took the gesture but the page doesn't change and the music doesn't play. It still works fine on the 3GS. Last night I did a restore from the 3GS to see if it just hadn't transferred right the first time but it still doesn't work. Is there something I can do to fix it? Would it be something with the app or
with the phone?

Thanks for any help.
Nancy
