I had the same problem. I asked a sited person to help me. I had the same problem where vo would tell me icon approaching border, but it would not change pages. The sited person told me how to make apps change pages. I am going to try to explain what the sited person told me, but I don't know if I will be able to explain it good enough for it to be of use. Please let me know if you understand or not. If not, then I will try to explain again. Here goes. Each app is shaped almost but not exactly like a square for people who can see it on screen. When you try to move an app to another page and it does not change pages, It is because your finger is getting to the edge of the screen before the app is. If the app is not right at the edge of the page, then it will not move to a different page. Ok. Now for the tricky part. Ok. Lets say you want to move an app from page 6 to page 4. You will want to drag the app to the left edge of the screen. But you can't just double tap and hold anywhere on the app. You have to double tap and hold the right side of the square shaped app so that the left edge of the app gets to the edge of the screen before your finger does. So to find the right edge of the app, if the app is on the very right of the screen, then just double tap the app on the very right edge of the screen. If it is somewhere in-between other apps, then find the app to the right of it and then slowly move your finger to the left until you find the app you want to move. As soon as you find it, double tap and hold the app to make sure you have it on the right edge. Don't move your finger too far to the left, or your finger will be too close to the left edge of the app and so the app can not reach the left edge of the screen and so will not change pages. You can also do it the opposite way to move apps foreword pages instead of backwards. Then, you would have to put your finger on the left edge of the app and double tap, hold and drag it to the right edge of the screen. Let me know if this helps.

ok, what is order? wasn't aware there was such a system, but I see your point, those apps you use frequently naturally would want them first in
line.

Hi Patricia.

If you're happy with that, then that's fine, however I like to keep my page 1 items in order so moving to a precise location is a big help for me.

All the best, Ibrahim.

thanks, it doesn't really matter where in the line up on page one, and really it's not a needs to be change to move it from page 2 really, it's the last app before the dock items on page 2, probably something from page 1
will switch places.

Hi Patricia.

To move an app, you will need to drag it to the other page. This is quite simple, however it takes practice and a little explanation. The IPhone screen is divided in to 12 squares where each of your apps has its name as well as a dock area which contains 4 apps. To move an app, firstly find out where it is located on the screen, then double tap and hold that location until you hear a three blip sound followed by the announcement "moving app name" where app name is the app you are on. To move an app to page one if you're on page two, drag the app to the left hand edge of the screen, you should hear "pause for page change". Hold on with your finger and the page will change to page 1, then lift your finger and the app will be moved. If you're really clever *smile*, you could drag the app to the location you want it on the first page, though as I said, it takes practice and more than
a little effort.

All the best and I hope this verbose explanation helps you to master it
quickly.
