I understand what you are saying, but that would be like Synaptics saying their touch pads will have a fixed sensitivity. People would complain about this. Humidity along with other factors can affect how a touch pad works. I personally hate it when I'm trying to type and the mouse decides to start moving and clicking. This is why I have it set to the least sensitive setting. I know it's a bit different with Apple devices. I personally don't see anything wrong with having this setting available.

Hi,

I doubt you’ll see this happen. I think Apple want to keep something like
screen sensitivity uniform since its such a big part of the user experience.
They don’t want a person picking up a friends iPad for example, and finding the
experience different than when they pick up their own iPhone.

Maybe they could ad a setting so the user could pick the sensitivity for
themselves. Not everybody is going to like the same sensitivity. Some people
will want more and some will want less.

I don't get why people are saying that the increased screen sensitivity is a
bug. Personally, I *looooove it! In iOS 6, it seemed like you had to hit your
phone with a hammer to get it to do anything. I seriously hope Apple doesn't
decrease the screen sensitivity.

Hi!
I'm no expert so what I type further can be taken seriously or not. I updated
this morning to IOS 7 and my first impressions are the following:
1. Using 4S 16gb i notice some lag while working with it. I expected that but
guess I'll need some time to adapt or urgently save some money for newer device
xD.
2. Using Voice Over without clicks and blips is astonishing experience on the
first turn but when you go a bit deeper and perform some actions you used to
perform and don't hear expected blip it can be confusing so for the newbie
users I recommend not to turn it off or to have it in the rotor to enable it on
the fly for some situations.
3. I loved Control Center idea and the actual Control Center untill I noticed
that they forget or did one thing on purpose. i really can't understand how
they succeeded to leave Cellular Data out of Control Center!? it was a major
disappointment for me.
4. HQ voices, atleast one I'm iusing sucks big time. Czech Zuzana is distorted
and the standard version is kindablur and from time to time sounds like she has
something in her mouth. In 6.1.3 this voice has been much more clear. Some
other folks also complained on IOS 7 voices.
5. I tried to reproduce things stated in the bug list on Applevis and
unfortunately Ihave to say that most of them are true. I reproduced the first
bug with increased screen sensitivity and several more after that one and they
all work xD.
I'd just like to say that the reportedbug for new text message is not the
actual bug, it seems like new way of using texts. After you add a person from
your contacts the virtual keyboard and edit field is hidden. In the lower left
corner there's a button, can't remember the title right now but it's labeled
and when you double tap it everything goes back to normal.
That's my thoughts after about twelve hours of using IOS 7 on 4S.
