accessible-iOS More ICloud questions: Backing up apps

OK guys
ICloud set up with Contacts and Calendars, but OK more questions:
1.-What does the Mail button back up, all the emails, or the account
info for GMail? I'm via Imap so I have no emails stored on except when I
am not on PC and retrieve them via iphone, thus the emails are online.
2.-For backing up my apps, there are two buttons one in Spanish called
Almacenamiento y Copia (IN English maybe Storage and Copy) and another
one called in Spanish Copia de Seguridad de ICloud (in English maybe
ICloud copy) which is disabled. To back up apps which one would I choose?
Among other questions? How often does the back up occur for ]Calendars
and Contacts, and is it done manually or automatic? Thanks for info.
