accessible-iOS Apps for free during certain time and reinstalling?

OK guys
I've got on my Iphone an app Application of the day in which every day
they put out a free version of an app; that's how Imanaged to get
Whatsapp and others. However some I've downloaded and I find
inaccessible! Do these apps get reinstalled when backing up from ICloud?
Also with the apps that are accessible like Whatsapp which I got from
the free promotion, would Whatsapp get reinstalled but for free again?
