[accessible-android] Turning off notifications

Every time a new e-mail comes in there is a whissle sourt of like a bird. At
first it was funny but Tonight I was trying to read a book share with Go Read.
Every time a new e-mail or some other notification came in I would hear that
sound and the reading would stop. Is there a way to turn off the notifications?
