Have you tried the dwon/right gesture giving you the read options?

You need to enable that feature in the talk back settings it doesn't come
enabled by default.

the device. I have tried to listen to my e-mails on both my Samsung Tablet
which is running android 4.11 and my phone which is running android 4.2 The
phone seems to work better than the tablet but even with the phone I have to
run my finger from left to wright line by line to get it to read the e-mail.
Wich isn't to bad if you have a short message. Someone told me about being
able to shake the phone and it will read the entire message. I am not getting
it to woŕrk. Any suggestions will be helpful.
