I am using the "send to" to zip the folder and it will not put it in the same location as the original unless I nix Winamp, so this is totally strange. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gene" <gsasner@xxxxxxxxx>

I see no reason that Winamp should have anything to do with the problem. I can't say it definitely doesn't because at times, very unexpected things may happen. but I have never heard of such a problem, whether people are using Winamp or not. Are you using Send To to get to the zip utility? The zip folder should be made in the folder where you are working. If you can add and remove folders from that folder, I see no reason why the zip utility can't make the folder. If you can't add or delete files or subfolders from the folder you are working in, then something needs to be changed in terms of the permission settings for that folder.

Hello, all. I'm trying to zip a folder and I receive the following message:
"Windows cannot create the Compressed (zipped) Folder here.
Do you want it to be placed on the desktop instead?" Is this a win amp problem? When I unstinalled AVG, I had to uninstall wibnamp as it became corrupted. I did not receive this error but now that Winamp is back, the error returned with a vengance.
They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.
