I see no reason that Winamp should have anything to do with the problem. I can't say it definitely doesn't because at times, very unexpected things may happen. but I have never heard of such a problem, whether people are using Winamp or not. Are you using Send To to get to the zip utility? The zip folder should be made in the folder where you are working. If you can add and remove folders from that folder, I see no reason why the zip utility can't make the folder.
