hello there; to answer your questions; 1, you have a choice whether you want skype to run when you boot your computer, or, you can choose, not to have skype start when you boot computer, this is a personal preference. I choose not to have skype start when I boot computer. 2, you can exit skype by going to system tray, enter on the skype item, now, up arrow you enter on, quit. hope this helps. ----- Original Message ----- From: Pat Hart To: accesscomp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, February 14, 2011 4:41 AM Subject: [accesscomp] Re: unable to send links David, As usual, good info, I just read this and have been having trouble with this myself, now I know how to do this myself by reading .. Also, I want to know how to close out Skype after it is downloaded and installed.. Is there a Jaws key to do that, I tried altF4 and it shows Skype on line on my sys tray and this morning I got a message after Ir estarted the computer which I do sometimes although I am running Vista home premium, a welcome to Skype home button on the tab keys. Is it alright to leave it showing Skype on line on the sys tray? I mean, will it hurt for it to be on line all thetime, when I am not using it, I know it is one line but I guess what I am asking you is it OK if it does not get entirely closed ut when I am through with it, yesterday I was readexit by Jaws but could not find an exit button, so just used alt F4 to close it, so is that alright? It seemed to have left it open or does it just stay open? I am not familiar enough to know, so is there a Jasws key toclose it or dfo I have to close it entriely?I am not ready to put contacts into it yet, so does that make a difference to Skype? It won't go away if I don't put contacts in today will it?
