I told him I wanted 2003. I don't know why he put in 2007. He said he had

Move to the start button or the task bar.
Open the context menu with the context menu key.
Find properties in the menu and press enter.
Shift tab once.
If you are on the start menu item, left arrow to get to task bar properties.
Tab many times.
You will get to a check box that says hide inactive icons.
Uncheck it with the space bar.
Tab to and activate the ok button.
You will now see safely remove hardware and perhaps other icons you don't
see now.

Now we know why you had French as your spell check language.  If the tech
had installed Word 2003, you would have had English as the spell checker
language.

If you use that tech in the future, or any tech, you should reach an
agreement that the tech won't upgrade anything without asking you and will
not install a higher version of anything without asking you.
