Gene, thanks so much. I have looked at that website before. I will take a
look again.

Subject: [accesscomp] Re: adding favorites in Firefox

I did a presentation for Accessible World's Tek Talk on Firefox awhile
ago. Not everything still applies but most of the information does. The
presentation covers both firefox and Webvisum. Firefox is discussed first
so if you don't want to hear the webvisum section, you can stop there. If
you find something that doesn't apply to newer versions of Firefox, you
may ask here or you may see how to do whatever is being discussed as you
work with the presentation. At times, the interface is different but it's
close enough that you may not have to ask.

I have a detailed section on Book Marks in the presentation.
Go to this page:
http://www.accessibleworld.org/content/assistive-technology-trainer-gene-asner-demonstrates-dynamic-duo-firefox-and-webvisum
Start at the top of the page and use your screen-reader's search function
to search for the word file.
Start down arrowing and you will see a link with a number and a file
extension. On this page, the link is:
08-18-08.mp3
Right click the link and use save target as to download the presentation.

There are a large number of presentations on a wide variety of subjects on
the Accessible World site. You might benefit significantly by looking
through what is offered.
go to
http://www.accessibleworld.org
You will see announcements near the top of the page you may be interested
in.
You will see many recent Tech Talk programs listed.
To see all the Tech Talk programs search for the phrase Tek Talk archives
Repeat the search down the page until you see a link that says Tek Talk
archives. You do not want the phrase download tek talk archives which you
will see many times before the link I said you should find.
follow that link to see the archives.
Accessible World has lots of features in addition to Tek Talk. I hope
that you and others look at the home page to see what a wide variety of
material is available.
